Is Gutman AI free?
Yes, Gutman AI is free to download on the App Store.
How accurate are the macros?
Estimates are calibrated against USDA FoodData Central and include per-item confidence scores you can adjust. On LiDAR-equipped iPhones, depth data improves portion sizing.
Does it understand non-Western food?
Yes — it recognizes regional cuisines, including Indian dishes, and the AI coach tailors suggestions to where you're from.
What devices are supported?
iPhone on iOS 26.2 or later. Some features, like LiDAR portion sizing, require Pro models.
How do I connect Apple Health?
Grant permission when prompted, or in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Gutman AI. Height, weight, and active energy sync to personalize your targets.
Deleting your account & data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app:
- Open Gutman AI and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Deletion is processed as a soft delete with a 30-day grace period — if you sign back in within 30 days, deletion is cancelled and your data is retained. After the grace period, your meal logs, water logs, chat history, metrics, profile, and authentication identity are permanently removed. Residual copies may remain briefly in backups or where retention is required by law. To request deletion by email instead, contact support@gutman.app.
